  1. Some people seem to love the chaos of busy shopping environments. I do most of my shopping on-line.
I saw an eBay logo with the words underneath β€œBecause going to the shops is so 1985”. Sounds about right to me.

  2. I don’t think it’s a bad attitude at allβ€”I think it’s rather a good thing for each of us to walk to the beat of our own drummers, even when everyone else around us seems to be hearing a different beat. You are most definitely not aloneβ€”I’m not a shopper either! I gave up the holiday shopping madness years ago and I’ve enjoyed the season ever since. I do enjoy making homemade truffles, which is a handy thing because that’s what almost everyone gets! :))) ~ Jeannie

    • I found your comment refreshingly validating, Jeannie — thank you. I, too, have pared down my holiday gift-giving, and celebrate loved ones on their birthday instead, with gift-giving. And I make mostly homemade soups for holiday gifts, along with some breakfast treats too. It’s really so much sweeter this way. Thanks so much for your input and originality. πŸ˜€

    • We’re definitely on the same page. How much nicer it is to be alone or with folks who you can have happy times with, and aren’t stressed out or sick from over-extending themselves. Have fun, Mary, and thanks so much for your comment. πŸ™‚
