Right?! Somebody put a lot of work into it. I wondered if that person was standing nearby somewhere watching the reactions to their art. Great to hear from you Amy, always a treat. 🙂
I like that question HJ. I’m one of those people who’s always in the background watching the people and activities, I guess it’s part of being a novelist. So I never sat on it. lol. 😀
Hi Bertie! I see from your last post that you were in this exact same area. That’s fun. The day I saw these bench decorations I had never seen them there before, and I have not seen them since. Lucky I got it recorded. Great to hear from you. 😀
Hi Jet, yes I had a very pleasant stroll (weather was beautiful) along the water and had a look in the Ferry Building as well (nice bakery inside). I found it to be a very photogenic area, with some of the old buildings.
I love photos like this one that are so whimsical that I can’t help but smile.
You captured the essence perfectly, Mike. There’s so much going on in that area, boats & ferries coming and going, shoppers, tourists, commuters. And there in the middle of it all someone has presented their art, unbidden, these silly knitted bench covers. All you can do is smile, such an easy effort and what a gift. Thanks very much for your comment, Mike. 😀
Not very inviting to the posterior, I imagine… 🙂
They were fun. 🙂
Love them.
Thanks Gill, I loved them too. Always a delight to hear from you. 😀
Benches! How fun and colorful 🙂

Haha, that’s so cute!
So cheerful, right? Thanks Lucy! 😀
Funny! Which side did you pick? Red or Green? 🙂

Fun shot! 🙂 I wish you a good week end
Thank you so very much…and I wish for you the same. 😀
Very nice area, didn’t come across these fun benches unfortunately.
